Kariyushi58's 'Ai o Amu' to be theme song for 2027 film 'All Blue'

Kariyushi58's new single 'Ai o Amu' will be the theme song for the upcoming film 'All Blue'. The song is scheduled for digital release on February 22, 2026.

The film is set on Okinawa's Kumejima island and follows a father and son who put down their smartphones. Gori from the comedy duo Garage Sale plays the father, with Ito Ayumi as his ex-wife and Isono Shun Eru as the son. Director Kitaguchi Yusuke, known for 'Higan no Futari', is at the helm.

'Ai o Amu' marks the Okinawan band's 20th anniversary. The song's release date coincides with the exact anniversary of their 2006 debut.

Production on 'All Blue' wrapped last October with support from Kumejima Town. The film is currently in post-production for a planned 2027 release.

Their song 'Anma' previously won the Japan Cable Award's New Artist prize.
