#KTCHAN Announces Digital EP 'to face' for March 11

Rapper #KTCHAN will release a new digital EP, "to face," on March 11. The seven-track collection includes three previously released singles—"ワンチャン," "our emotions," and "ホントウノコト。"—alongside four new songs: "私の幸せは私が決める," "シンパシー mashi mashi," "日々を感じて," and "移ろいを抱きしめる."

The cover art was created using AI. The EP will be available on major music streaming platforms.

In a statement, the 21-year-old artist described the project as an exercise in self-confrontation. "The answer that came up when I thought about what kind of expression I want to make now as a rapper and artist was 'facing myself,'" #KTCHAN said. "Each song on this EP is the result of facing the music more intently than I ever have in my life."

"If putting others' happiness first causes you to lose trust in yourself, then you can't truly love anyone—yourself or others," she explained of the lead track, "私の幸せは私が決める" (I Decide My Own Happiness).

A release party for the EP, "#KTCHAN digital ep 'to face' release DJ party in WREP," is scheduled for March 11 at 8:00 PM at DJ Bar WREP in Tokyo. Admission is 1000 yen at the door.

#KTCHAN, born in 2004 in Yokohama, gained attention after winning the newcomer award at the 2022 "戦極MCBATTLE." Her 2023 track "BaNe BaNe" surpassed 10 million views across related videos. She made her major label debut in January 2025 with "距離ガール," which topped national radio airplay charts.
