Uru releases music video for 'Sasurai no Uta' from album 'tone'

Uru has released a music video for the song "Sasurai no Uta" (Wanderer's Song). The track is featured on her album "tone", which was released on February 19.

The video was directed by Yutaka Tokomachi and features actor and model Takuya Wakabayashi. It depicts a protagonist reflecting on life, past, and memory through overlapping scenes of mundane daily life.

"Sasurai no Uta" is a ballad with piano, written and composed by Uru and arranged by Kohei Munemoto.

The album "tone" is Uru's first in approximately three years, following "Contrast." It contains 15 tracks, including several theme songs for major anime and drama series.

Notable tie-ins include "Ambivalent", the second cour opening theme for the anime The Apothecary Diaries; "Kami Hitoe", the ending theme for the anime Hell's Paradise; and "Never ends", the theme song for the TBS drama DOPE.

The album also features "Kyou to Iu Hi wo", the theme song for the film Kyojou Requiem starring Takuya Kimura, and "Kokoroe", the theme for the Fuji TV drama Kazama Kyojo -Kyojou0- and the film Kyojou Reunion.

Two limited editions were released. A "Cover Edition" includes newly recorded covers of songs by artists including Ken Hirai, Masaki Suda, and Eiichi Ohtaki. A "Video Edition" includes a Blu-ray of Uru's 2023 "contrast" live performance at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA.

Uru will celebrate her 10th major debut anniversary in June. A national tour, "Uru Tour 2026 'tone'", is scheduled from July through October.
