Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san Anime Premieres July 2026

The TV anime adaptation of the horror-comedy manga Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san will premiere in July 2026. Wave's Deregula label announced the release window alongside the key visual, main cast, character designs, and staff details.

The series follows Shizuka, a high school girl with a supernatural constitution that attracts ghosts. She works as an assistant to the handsome, powerful exorcist Kamui, whose unorthodox methods for dispelling spirits are described as uniquely perverse.

Tomokazu Sugita leads the voice cast as Kamui. He is joined by Risho Aono as Shizuka, M・A・O as Oichi, Yuka Aisaka as Kyoko, and Shiori Izawa as Inagawa.

Tsukumo Takumi directs the series at studios Zero-G and ZG-R. Chihiro Endo composes the music. The character designer is Toshinari Yamashita, with series composition by Motofumi Chujo.

The manga, written by Eroki and illustrated by Konoshiro Shinko, is currently serialized on Shogakukan's Manga One platform. The official anime website is now live.
