Anime 'Ichijouma Mankitsu Kurashi!' Reveals Teaser, Characters, and VTuber Channel

The upcoming anime Ichijouma Mankitsu Kurashi! (One-Tatami Room Mankitsu Living!) has released its first teaser promotional video and a batch of preview screenshots.

Two teaser PVs are now available. One is hosted on the official channel for the in-story VTuber, Marika Belltree, while the other is on the NBCUniversal Anime/Music account.

The anime is based on the manga by Himasakumako, serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara. It follows high schooler Mei Morita, who moves to Tokyo for a prestigious girls' school only to find herself living and working at a manga cafe called Hedgehog.

Characters include Michika Narumi, a cat-loving high schooler; Majikaru Momorin Goda, an 18-year-old history enthusiast who speaks in samurai dialect; Gao, a hugely popular VTuber; and Berna, Gao's mysterious maid and spy.

The YouTube channel for the in-story VTuber Marika Belltree is now live. Its first stream is scheduled for February 17, 2026, at 21:30 JST.

Music for the series will be composed by MONACA. Animation production is handled by PRA.
