ATARASHII GAKKO! Release New Single 'Chanka Chanka'

ATARASHII GAKKO! have released a new single called "Chanka Chanka." track is out now via global label 88rising.

The song draws inspiration from traditional Japanese festival music, or matsuri-bayashi, blending its call-and-response chants and rhythmic shouts with modern club production. The group first performed the track at a sold-out Tokyo show on April 26.

Their track "Oton a Blue" has surpassed 3.3 billion plays on TikTok. They headlined the Gobi Stage at Coachella in 2024 and recently completed a world tour across 33 cities in Asia and North America, drawing over 110,000 attendees.

ATARASHII GAKKO! are scheduled for several international festival appearances through the summer and fall.
