AVAM Releases Valentine's Day MV 'Warui Ren'ai' Composed by Yamamoto Shō

The idol group AVAM released the music video for their new single "Warui Ren'ai" on February 14. The track was composed and written by Yamamoto Shō, known for his hit work with FRUITS ZIPPER.

The song, which translates to "Bad Love," was first performed at the group's January 4 one-man live show. The MV features the seven-member group in confectionery-themed outfits, set in a fictional "AVAM FACTORY."

AVAM was formed from an audition with approximately 15,000 applicants. Their track "Kyou, Izonshite." gained traction on TikTok, and the group has sold out venues like Zepp and Toyosu PIT. Their music videos have over 18 million total views.

The group will embark on a five-city Zepp tour across Japan, starting March 21 in Sapporo. General ticket sales begin February 25. The single "Warui Ren'ai" is available on streaming platforms including Spotify.
