Black onyX's 'OnyXXX' Music Video Released for Netflix's 'Chou Kaguyahime!'

The full music video for "OnyXXX," the signature song of the in-universe group Black onyX from the anime film 'Chou Kaguyahime!,' is now on YouTube. The song is performed by the characters' voice actors: Miyu Irino, Yuma Uchida, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka.

The film, an original Netflix animation directed by Seigo Koyama, is a music-focused project. Its soundtrack features contributions from notable Vocaloid producers ryo (supercell), kz (livetune), 40mP, and HoneyWorks. Animation is handled by Studio Colorido and the newly formed Studio Chromato.

Since its Netflix debut, the film has topped the platform's daily movie charts in Japan. A subsequent theatrical release in Japan began on February 20, 2026. The film has since been extended in theaters, surpassing 1 million attendees and 2 billion yen in box office revenue as of April 20.

"OnyXXX" was the last major in-film song without a full public version. The newly released MV features a stylized, monochromatic visual design matching the group's aesthetic. The song was composed, arranged, and produced by Cornish, with traditional Japanese instrumentation including koto and a string section.

'Chou Kaguyahime!' is streaming globally on Netflix. The "OnyXXX" music video is available on the film's official YouTube channel.
