BLACK TORCH Anime Casts Junichi Suwabe and Reina Ueda for 2026 Debut

The upcoming TV anime 'BLACK TORCH' has announced the addition of Junichi Suwabe and Reina Ueda to its voice cast for the July 2026 premiere. Suwabe will voice Ryosuke Shiba, the founder of the secret government organization known as 'Black Torch', while Ueda takes on the role of Hana Usami, Shiba's assistant.

Suwabe, known for his roles in popular series such as 'My Hero Academia' and 'Fate/stay night', brings his seasoned voice acting to this character.

Hana Usami, voiced by Ueda, supports Shiba and the 'Black Torch' team.

The anime follows high school student Jiro Azuma, who possesses the ability to communicate with animals, and his encounter with Rago, a legendary Mononoke. The story unfolds as Jiro and Rago navigate a world filled with supernatural threats and government interventions.

'BLACK TORCH' is based on the manga by Takaki Tsuyoshi, published by Shueisha, and directed by Kei Mabiki. The animation is produced by 100studio, with character design by Go Suzuki and music by Yutaka Yamada.
