Bushiroad Launches 'ZERO RISE' with Stage Play and TV Anime

Bushiroad has unveiled its latest cross-media project, 'ZERO RISE', during the 'Cardfight. Vanguard 15th Anniversary Bushiroad New Year Announcement 2026'. The project includes a stage play and a TV anime.

The story of 'ZERO RISE' follows young individuals who have been expelled from official basketball circles for various reasons. They find a new beginning in the underground street basketball league, Zero Rise, where they strive to reclaim their lost dreams.

The stage play is set to run from May 2 to May 17, 2026, featuring 20 performances. The cast includes Yuki Sasamori as Madoka, Tomoya Fukui as Date, and Kai Otomo as Merlin, among others. Tickets are available for early purchase until February 8.

The TV anime production has also been confirmed, with Nichika Line handling the animation. A promotional video featuring animation clips is available on YouTube.
