Charts of the Year 2025 - Vote for the Top 40

It's that time of year! Charts of the Year 2025 is here, and we're inviting YOU to help shape the definitive Top 40 countdowns for Pop, J-Pop, and K-Pop. This December, your votes will determine which songs make it to the top - and on New Year's Eve, we'll reveal the results live on air!

What is Charts of the Year?

Charts of the Year is Only Hits' listener-driven countdown event. Unlike traditional charts that rely solely on streaming numbers or airplay, our Top 40 lists are powered entirely by your votes. It's democracy in music – every listener gets a voice in crowning the biggest hits of 2025.

This year, we're running three separate countdowns:

• Pop Top 40 – The biggest international pop hits of 2025
• J-Pop Top 40 – The best Japanese pop music of the year
• K-Pop Top 40 – The hottest Korean pop tracks of 2025

How to Vote

Voting is simple, free, and open to everyone. Here's how to participate:

1. Head to our Charts of the Year voting page
2. Choose your category: Pop, J-Pop, or K-Pop
3. Browse or search for your favorite songs from 2025
4. Click the vote button on any song you want to support
5. Come back every day for more votes!

Voting Rules

To keep things fair and exciting, here are the rules:

• 5 votes per day per category – Your votes reset at midnight (New York time)
• Vote for any song – Every track that's been played on Only Hits in 2025 is eligible
• Voting period: December 1st – December 28th, 2025
• Real-time rankings – Watch the charts shift as votes come in (positions hidden during the final week for suspense!)

The Big Reveal – December 31st

The moment you've been waiting for! On New Year's Eve at 10:00 PM (New York time), we'll broadcast a special 2-hour countdown show revealing all three Top 40 charts. It's the perfect way to celebrate the year's best music before ringing in 2026!
