Crusher Releases 'Like a Shooting Star' MV for Hatsune Miku V6

The official Hatsune Miku YouTube channel, 39ch, has released a new music video for the song 'Like a Shooting Star' by producer Crusher. The track was created as a commemorative song for the Hatsune Miku V6 software released earlier this year.

The MV features illustrations of Miku by Heremia and animation by Narase. The song is available for streaming via the Vocaloid-focused label KARENT, accessible through the nodee link aggregator.

Crusher, a music creator based in the United States, commented on the release. "I had the honor of creating a demo for the new VOCALOID6 release of Hatsune Miku," they said. "This is the final version of that song, full of effects on the voice. I am very enthusiastic about the vocoded part in the chorus." Producer YZYX handled the song's arrangement.

Illustrator Heremia noted it was an honor to work on a character they had drawn since childhood. Animator Narase, who is also a Vocaloid producer, cited Crusher's music as a long-time influence on their own work.
