DATE WARS Season 2 Begins with New Anthem Song

DATE WARS Season 2 begins with the digital release of a new anthem song, 'Flashback Memory ~Jidai o Kakeru Mononoke-tachi~', on April 30, 2026.

The song features all 14 members of the project's 'Time Travel Band', voiced by a cast including Yumi Hoshino, Anna Nagase, and Mebaru Harukawa. Music producer Mino oversees the track, with Brian New World handling composition and arrangement.

A special pre-release livestream is scheduled for April 29 at 19:00 JST on the official DATE WARS YouTube channel. Voice actors Ane Inui, Mebaru Harukawa, Takako Tanaka, and Mihana Hanai are set to appear.

Yuichiro Momose, creator of Hypnosis Mic, leads the project, with character designs by manga artist Naruko Hanaharu. Season 2 will continue with monthly releases of original songs and music videos from teams representing the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s.
