Digimon Beatbreak Enters New 'GIFT' Arc, Casts Ayane Sakura as New Character

The TV anime DIGIMON BEATBREAK begins a new story chapter with episode 28, titled "GIFT." A new character, Miharu Kagamori, will be introduced, voiced by Ayane Sakura.

The plot for episode 28 sees Tomorou visiting Asuka in the hospital, where he encounters a strange girl. Meanwhile, the bounty hunter team Growing Dawn heads to the same hospital to capture a serial killer, only to find a Digimon fanatic and a Digimon with an abnormal obsession with deliveries.

Ayane Sakura is known for roles in series like My Hero Academia (Ochaco Uraraka) and The Quintessential Quintuplets (Itsuki Nakano).

The "GIFT" arc follows the "Tactics" chapter, which premiered in October 2025. Digimon Beatbreak is the franchise's first new TV anime since 2023.

Episode 28 of Digimon Beatbreak airs on Fuji TV and other networks in Japan on April 26. International streaming begins shortly after the Japanese broadcast on platforms including Prime Video, Hulu, and U-NEXT.
