The visual shows the back of protagonist Sawaki Kyo and his partner Murasamemon. It also introduces a new character, Kuroshio Soji, who is described as a former member of the Gogyosei and is fixated on Kyo for an unspecified reason. Veteran voice actor Shinichiro Miki will voice Soji.

K-pop group KISS OF LIFE provides the new ending theme song, 'BREAK IT'. A non-credit version of the ending movie is now available on the official Digimon YouTube channel. The song is available on global streaming platforms.

An in-person screening event for the new arc is scheduled for August 8 at T-Joy Seibu Oizumi in Tokyo. The event will feature a talk show with voice actors Yohei Azakami (Kyo) and Daiki Hamano (Murasamemon), along with series director Hiroaki Miyamoto. Attendees will receive exclusive merchandise, including a cassette tape of the song 'Edge of Limit'.
