Eir Aoi Announces New Project 'EIR MODE ROCK' with Anime Single 'MONSTER'

Eir Aoi has launched a new two-year project titled "EIR MODE ROCK." The project, developed in collaboration with the anime music label Lantis, will kick off with the release of her new single "MONSTER," the opening theme for the fourth season of the popular anime Classroom of the Elite.

The single is scheduled for release on April 22, 2026. Aoi wrote the lyrics herself, describing the track as an aggressive, digitally-infused rock song that symbolizes this new chapter. The project's themes are "UNBOUND" and "SELFISH."

Her management company, MONSTAR design, stated the project follows her 15th anniversary. The decision follows a sold-out Asia tour across Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Taipei, and Tokyo, which concluded with a final show at Ebisu Garden Hall in Tokyo today.

MONSTAR design noted that during the Asia tour, audiences sang along in perfect Japanese.

A kick-off solo concert for the project is scheduled for August 16, 2026—a date known as "Eir no Hi" (Eir's Day)—at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo. Further details will be announced later.
