agehasprings, a Tokyo-based music production company, handled the total music production for the film. Their involvement extends from the idol group songs featured in the movie to the background score. The idol group depicted in the film, Happy☆Fanfare, has its songs entirely produced by agehasprings.

The cast includes Kyoko Saito in her first leading role, with Yuna Nakamu from Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, Miyu Ogawa returning after a six-year hiatus, Mitsuki Imamura, and Hinano Sakura from the group Iginaritouhoku. The choreography, crafted by Natsumi Takenaka, is inspired by real idol performances.
