Fumino's 'Sunao Miman' to Open Netflix's Ranma ½ Season 3

Singer-songwriter Fumino will release her new single "Sunao Miman" digitally on October 5, 2026. The track serves as the opening theme for the third season of the classic anime Ranma ½.

Fumino first performed the song live on September 27 at the final show of her first Zepp tour in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. She wrote the lyrics and contributed to the composition.

The anime's new season began airing in Japan on October -3. Netflix will stream each episode globally immediately after its Japanese broadcast.

The single's jacket art shows Fumino in a red outfit and hairband, lying on a blue rug with an electric guitar. The image includes playful details like chips shaped like guitar picks and a clothespin used as a capo.

"The characters in Ranma ½ are all charming and lovable, and I found myself deeply empathizing with them," Fumino said. "I was honored to be asked to do the opening theme. I took a lot of inspiration from the work and tried to channel that feeling of not being able to be honest into the song in my own way."
