hanbee releases new single 'tomato baby' from upcoming album 'daydream radio'

Indie-pop singer hanbee released the single 'tomato baby' and its music video today. The track is the latest preview of her second album, 'daydream radio', scheduled for release on June 19.

The New Zealand-born, Korean-rooted artist describes the song as an indie-pop track inspired by the act of calling a loved one by a nickname. The album, co-produced with Seoul-based producer Hyunmin Lee and supported by NZ On Air, is based on a year spent between Auckland and Seoul.

The music video for 'tomato baby' was shot in Sydney locations like Bondi Beach and the suburb of Rose Bay.

Her track 'strange' from her debut album 'small love' was selected for Apple Music Korea's Best Songs of 2024 list. She has performed at Laneway Festival and SXSW Sydney, and shared stages with artists like Men I Trust.
