Itsuka▶︎ Releases 'Blacker Co., Ltd.' for 'Fist of the North Star' Anime Spinoff

The artist unit Itsuka▶︎ (Itsuka Saisei) releases their new single, 'Blacker Co., Ltd.,' starting February 14. The track serves as the opening theme for the currently airing short anime Fist of the North Star: The Elegy of the Fodder Soldiers of the Ken-Oh Army.

The anime is a comedic spinoff of the legendary Fist of the North Star manga, which has sold over 100 million copies. It follows Nobu, an ordinary villager who answers a suspicious job posting only to find himself employed by the violent and pillaging Ken-Oh Army.

Producer Makoto Nakamura described 'Blacker Co., Ltd.' as a rock song carrying the shouts of young people struggling through life. He stated the track was created with respect for the original series, noting that fans will likely recognize certain lyrics as references to iconic lines from Fist of the North Star.

The anime features voice actor Hiro Shimono as the protagonist Nobu. The ending theme, 'Elegy of the Enemies,' is performed by The Canbellz.

Fist of the North Star: The Elegy of the Fodder Soldiers of the Ken-Oh Army airs on AT-X and TOKYO MX in Japan and is available on streaming platforms like Anime Times.
