Japanese BL Drama 'Your Sky' Remake Premieres with Original Thai Stars

The Japanese remake of the hit Thai BL drama 'Your Sky' premieres August 1. The series, titled 'Your Sky ハレのち恋', stars Ayuta Fukuda of DXTEEN and Issei Aihara of ONE LOVE ONE HEART.

Thomas and Kong, the original Thai leads, will make guest appearances.

The Japanese version follows Haruki, a kind-hearted university student played by Fukuda, and Sora, a feared 'tyrant prince' senior played by Aihara.

Thomas and Kong filmed scenes for the Japanese adaptation. On set, Fukuda and Aihara expressed excitement at meeting "the real Muenfah and Teerak."

"'Your Sky' was our first starring drama," Thomas said. "We grew so much through it. Hearing it was being remade in Japan made us really happy."

The first episode, "Dangerous Senior," sees Haruki rescued from an aggressive suitor by Sora, who claims they are dating.

ONE LOVE ONE HEART performs the opening theme "Ups & Downs." DXTEEN performs the ending theme "Our Sky."

'Your Sky ハレのち恋' airs Saturdays at 25:30 on TOKYO MX. It will be available for free catch-up on TVer and for exclusive streaming on FOD.
