Jonah releases new single 'Nagahokei no Watashi' for drama 'Shitsuren Karta'

Jonah's seventh digital single, "Nagahokei no Watashi," is now available on streaming platforms. The song serves as the opening theme for the MBS/TBS drama "Shitsuren Karuta," which premiered on March 31.

The accompanying music video, directed by Kato Mani (manifilms), is set inside an airplane cabin. It depicts a fantastical story centered on a couple.

"I wanted to create a song where each listener could be the protagonist of their own love story," Jonah said. "I sang it as if speaking to everyone about the shape of love as I see it."

The drama "Shitsuren Karuta" is based on "phrases" from a card game created by comedian and writer Matayoshi Naoki. It features a triple lead cast of Nogizaka46's Umezawa Minami, Nishigaki Takumi, and Kato Konatsu.

Jonah debuted in January 2025 with the song "Echo."
