Kaede Higuchi of Nijisanji Reaches 1 Million YouTube Subscribers

VTuber Kaede Higuchi from the Nijisanji group has passed one million subscribers on YouTube. The milestone was announced on February 16, 2026.

Higuchi debuted in February 2018. She released her first major single "MARBLE" in March 2020 and completed her first solo live tour in 2025.

Her second mini-album, "PLATFORM," is scheduled for release on March 25, 2026. The album will feature rock-oriented tracks written by artists including FLOW and Triple Fire. It will also include new songs from the producers behind her debut single "MARBLE" and her indie-era track "Kyomei."

Higuchi hosts a weekly radio show, "Kaede Higuchi's What Are You Doing at This Great Time?" It airs on Culture Broadcasting on Sundays at 8:30 PM and on QloveR's Super! A&G+ on Mondays at 9:00 PM.

Her character is a tall, second-year high school student from virtual Kansai who plays trumpet in the brass band, enjoys fashion, and lives with a cat.
