Laufey Announces Deluxe Album, New Music Video, and Asia Tour Dates

Grammy-winning artist Laufey will release the deluxe edition of her album, 'A Matter of Time: The Final Hour,' on May 27. The digital version is already available on streaming platforms.

The video for the single "Madwoman" was directed by Warren Fu, known for his work with Dua Lipa and The 1975. It features a cast including actor Hudson Williams, figure skater Alysa Liu, KATSEYE's Megan Skiendiel, and actress Lola Tung.

Laufey described the project as a response to a lack of representation she felt growing up. "This 'Madwoman' video, I wanted to be that representation myself," she said. "The finished product is a dream video, exactly what my younger self wanted to see."

The physical CD edition, released in Japan on May 27, features exclusive packaging and two bonus live tracks recorded at her July 2025 concert in Tokyo. The standard deluxe album has 19 tracks.

Her "A Matter of Time Tour" will head to Asia in May, with stops in Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, and Tokyo. The Japan concert is scheduled for June 5 at Tokyo Garden Theater.
