Mari Hiruga Sings 'Zinnia' for Live-Action Drama 'Sukui, Sukuraware'

Mari Hiruga will perform the opening theme for the live-action adaptation of the manga 'Sukui, Sukuraware' (Salvation, Devoured). Her new song, 'Zinnia' (Hyakunichisou), is set for release under Warner Music Japan.

A new promotional video featuring the song and additional cast members, including Rintaro Hachimura, has been released. The drama, based on a suspense manga with over 500,000 copies in print, premieres on Japanese television on February 12, 2026.

Hiruga described 'Zinnia' as a song of deep love for lonely souls, written to align with the drama's themes of codependency and obsession.

The drama stars NOA and Tamami Sakaguchi. It will air on MBS and other regional broadcasters in Japan. Streaming will be available on TVer, MBS Douga Izm, and the FOD service.

The ending theme, 'Say Yes,' will be performed by actor and singer NOA. The original manga 'Sukui, Sukuraware' is published by Micro Magazine under its Comic Rouge label.
