Marvel Rivals Season 8 'Alchemax's Sin' Launches May 15

Marvel Rivals Season 8, titled "Alchemax's Sin," begins May 15. The update adds Devil Dinosaur as a new Vanguard and a new Doom Match map, Alchemax Headquarters.

The Marvel Rivals Ignite esports tournament also moves into Stage 1 on May 21. The stage features a total prize pool of $650,000, distributed across regional competitions in the Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China. Group stages run from May 21 to June 7, followed by playoffs from June 25 to July 5.

Devil Dinosaur is a wild Vanguard character that uses a force shield and a biting attack that inflicts bleeding. Its ultimate ability transforms it into an invincible beast that charges forward. The new Alchemax Headquarters map arrives on May 28.

A PC storage optimization feature is being added, allowing high-resolution texture packs to be installed separately to save approximately 35GB of space. New accessories for characters including Sif, Black Widow, and Angela will also be available.

Marvel Rivals is a free-to-play team shooter available on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store.

The Marvel Rivals Ignite tournament will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch.
