MINMI and INFINITY16 Release First Collaboration in 14 Years

MINMI and INFINITY16 have released two new collaborative tracks, their first joint work in approximately 14 years. The songs, "桜華爛漫 feat. INFINITY16 & MINMI" and "大切な君のそば feat. MINMI & INFINITY16," are available now on global streaming platforms.

The project originated from the "Sakura Karanman" fireworks festival in Chiba. The tracks were initially created to synchronize with the fireworks display last year. Following a positive response, they were reworked for an official release.

DJ MaL produced the tracks. Mixing and mastering was handled by Marco Ciuch and IRKO at StudioBeat3 in Los Angeles. IRKO is known for engineering work on projects for Ye, Jay-Z, and The Weeknd.

MINMI said the songs are rooted in the sound of 90s and Y2K-era dancehall reggae. "I hope people who lived through that era, and people today, can both enjoy it," she said.

The releases come under the newly established label AGEHA ENTERTAINMENT.,ltd, created for this project. MINMI is scheduled to perform her first solo concert at the Nippon Budokan on October 8, 2026.
