Mnet Announces 'GIRLS PLANET 2' Global Audition Project for 2027 Debut

Mnet will launch a new global audition project for a K-pop girl group set to debut in 2027. The production team behind 'Girls Planet 999', 'BOYS PLANET', and 'BOYS II PLANET' is opening applications worldwide.

Global recruitment for 'GIRLS PLANET 2' begins May 1, 2026. In-person auditions will be held at KCON JAPAN 2026 in Chiba from May 8-10 and later at KCON LA 2026 in August.

Eligible participants are women born before January 1, 2013, regardless of nationality or residence. Applications are open to individual trainees, agency trainees, and those with prior debut experience.

ZEROBASEONE from 'BOYS PLANET' has achieved six consecutive million-selling albums. ALPHA DRIVE ONE from 'BOYS II PLANET' sold over 1.44 million copies of their debut album in its first week.
