Netflix Debuts 'Super Kaguya-Hime!' with BUMP OF CHICKEN's New Track

Netflix has launched the global exclusive release of the anime 'Super Kaguya-Hime!' on January 22, 2026. This original anime, directed by Shingo Yamashita, features a new ending theme, 'ray Super Kaguya-Hime! Version', arranged by TAKU INOUE. The track is a fresh take on BUMP OF CHICKEN's hit song 'ray', originally featuring Hatsune Miku.

The anime is a collaboration between Studio Colorido and Studio Chromato. Known for his work on 'Jujutsu Kaisen' and 'Chainsaw Man', Yamashita brings his signature style to 'Super Kaguya-Hime!', set in the virtual world of 'Tsukuyomi'. Teaser ranked first on YouTube's 'Trending Movies' chart.

The music project associated with the anime includes contributions from notable Vocaloid producers such as ryo (supercell), kz (livetune), and HoneyWorks. The special track 'Melt CPK! Remix', a remix of ryo's popular song 'Melt', features vocals by Yuko Natsuyoshi as Kaguya. This track, along with 'World is Mine CPK! Remix', will have original music videos released on January 22 and 23, respectively.
