New Season of 'Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez' Premieres January 10

The anime series 'Cardfight. Vanguard Divinez Phantom Star War Arc' premieres its first episode on January 10, 2026. The series will air on TV Aichi and affiliated networks at 8:00 AM JST. It will also be available for streaming on platforms like Amazon Prime Video.

Episode 1, titled 'Phantom Star War', introduces Akina Meido, a high school senior living an ordinary life until a mysterious girl appears. The story unfolds in Kanazawa, where strange phenomena occur, including a city shrouded in fog and a towering structure. Akina and her friends encounter 'Phantom Fighters', and only those chosen by special 'Phantom Beasts' can challenge them.

The series continues the legacy of 'Cardfight. Vanguard', which started in 2011. Known for its trading card game and multimedia presence, the franchise has sold over 20 billion cards globally. CLAMP has been designing characters since 2021. The current 'Divinez' storyline, featuring Akina as the protagonist, began in 2024.
