New Show 'Game On Club' Premieres as Tokyo Game Show 2026 Official Program

Game On Club (ゲー音部) debuts as an official Tokyo Game Show 2026 program.

The first episode streams on September 20 at 20:00 JST on the TGS official channels. It will feature drummer Takao Suzuki (formerly of UNISON SQUARE GARDEN), bassist Hasegawa Kaonashi of CreepHyp, and guitarist/keyboardist Bonchihara Yuitsu.

They will perform arrangements of three iconic tracks: "Fighting" from FINAL FANTASY VII, "Dr. Wily Stage 2" from Mega Man 2, and "Kokuu, Mugi no Kaze" from Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout.

The show's format combines live band performances with discussion. The musicians and guests, including Famitsu.com editor-in-chief Masashi Miyokawa, will talk about their favorite elements of the original compositions.

After the TGS premiere, the show will continue with regular uploads on its dedicated YouTube channel. Future episodes will feature different "club members"—musicians and streamers—covering music from various game genres and publishers.

Takao Suzuki commented on the project, stating the responsibility of arranging classic tracks led to intense preparation. MC and Gamchew CEO Shobei Taguchi described game music as "music that remains in your body along with the memory of playing."
