'Omaegoto' Anime Shares Preview, Plot for Episode 6

The anime adaptation of 'Omaegotokiga Maō ni Kateru to Omō na' to Yūsha Pātī o Tsuihōsareta node, Ōto de Kimama ni Kurashitai' has released details for its upcoming sixth episode. Titled 'Kimama ni Kurashitai' ('I Want to Live Freely'), the episode airs February 12.

The official synopsis describes Flam finding comfort in the domestic scene of Milkitt preparing breakfast. The former hero Eternal has moved in. A point of tension remains at the adventurer's guild, where Dane continues to view Flam with suspicion over a missing comrade. The episode's climax involves Milkitt making her first personal request to Flam: she wants to try her master's cheesecake.

Cast member Kuno Misaki, who voices Eternal, has selected the key visual cuts that will air as sponsor bumpers during the TV broadcast. Her commentary on the selections will be published on the anime's official website and X account on February 12.

The episode's staff includes scriptwriter Kunizawa Mariko, storyboard artist Kamanaka Nobuharu, and director Tomitsune Tsuneo. Chief animation directors are Fukuyoshi Takaaki, Matsumoto Fumio, and Furusawa Takafumi.

The series, commonly shortened to 'Omaegoto', follows Flam Apricot, a girl with zero combat stats who was chosen for the hero's party by divine prophecy. After being bullied and sold into slavery by her party's sage, she is given a choice between a cursed sword or death by monster. Her choice activates her unique 'Reversal' skill.

The anime is currently streaming on d Anime Store and U-NEXT in Japan. The opening theme 'Liberator' is by PassCode, and the ending theme 'I need' is by Yuki Tanaka.
