Pokémon and Hatsune Miku Release New Song 'Spiral Melodies' for 30th Anniversary

The Pokémon Company and Crypton Future Media have released a new song for their collaborative 'Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE High↑' series. The track, titled 'Spiral Melodies,' is performed by the Vocaloid unit Omoi.

The music video for 'Spiral Melodies' debuted on February 27, known as Pokémon Day. Omoi, the duo of Sakurai and Kimura, provided a comment with the release: "We entrust this prayer to Miku and Meloetta. May melodies carried on the wind become bridges to the heart. May the joy of meeting resonate as singing voices. 'Spiral Melodies' is a hymn dedicated to all kinds of encounters."

The Project VOLTAGE series now has 26 songs, with total views across YouTube and Niconico surpassing 100 million. The new track brings the total to 27.

Hatsune Miku with Pokémon Pikachu and Farfetch

A real-life concert event, 'Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku VOLTAGE Live!,' is scheduled for March 20-22, 2026 at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY. The event will feature six performances over three days.

A professional band will perform all 27 songs from the series. Virtual singers Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin & Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO will appear on stage, joined by guest vocalist Kasane Teto. Pokémon such as Pikachu, Meloetta, and Eevee will also appear during the performances.

General ticket sales for the concert began on February 21. A live stream ticket option is also available.
