Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE Announces New Song and First Real Live Concert

The Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE High↑ collaboration has released a new music video and announced its first real-world concert event. The new song 'たびだちのうた' (Tabidachi no Uta) by producer 烏屋茶房 (Karasuya Sabou) is now available on YouTube.

Hatsune Miku and Pokemon characters including Pikachu and Farfetchd in a colorful, dynamic scene promoting musical collaboration.

Since launching in August 2023, 28 original songs have been released, surpassing 100 million total views on YouTube and Niconico.

A live concert titled 'Pokemon feat. Hatsune Miku VOLTAGE Live!' is scheduled for March 20-22, 2026 at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY. Six performances are planned over the three days. The setlist will include all 25 original songs released to date, plus several new tracks unveiled before the event.

Virtual singers Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO will perform on stage, with guest appearances by Kasane Teto. Pokémon including Pikachu and Meloetta will also appear alongside the virtual singers.

In a comment on the new song, 烏屋茶房 wrote, 'Our journey begins with choices... I hope you can listen while thinking of the journey of the 18 types of Miku so far, and above all, the story of you and your partner chosen from infinite possibilities.'

Merchandise themed around the project's 18 trainer-type Mikus and partner Pokémon will go on sale at Pokémon Centers in Japan starting January 31. A 2-CD collection of the project's songs, 'Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs Collection', was released in November 2024.
