Roy Kim Covers 'Sparkle' from 'Your Name.' for J-POP REMAKE Series

Roy Kim has released a Korean-language remake of RADWIMPS' "Sparkle," the signature song from the anime film Your Name. It is the fourth installment in the J-POP REMAKE series.

The track was released worldwide on September 11. It follows previous covers in the series by TAEYEON, HAN RORO, and AKMU's Lee Su-hyun.

Roy Kim and lyricist Islam participated in writing the Korean lyrics. The arrangement centers on his vocal tone, rebuilding the song's dramatic emotional arc.

The accompanying music video stars figure skater Cha Jun-hwan and actress Seo Soo-min in their first collaboration. It depicts a budding romance between two people who meet in a bookstore.
