RUEED and PUSHIM release Valentine's Day duet 'Kyomei'

RUEED releases a new single featuring PUSHIM on February 14. The track, "Kyomei feat. PUSHIM," is produced by DJ Mitsu the Beats.

The track is the first duet between RUEED and PUSHIM, who is often called the 'Queen of Reggae.' RUEED, from Yokosuka, won the "Road to Yokohama Reggae Sai" at age 18 and later founded the Mastermind label.

PUSHIM, often called the "Queen of Reggae," began her career in Osaka in 1995. Her voice pairs with RUEED's lyrics on a track that blends reggae with soul and hip-hop.

The song's theme is an intangible, yet certain, form of love. The music video, directed by TASAKITAKA・YUKI, was shot in a single take. It features RUEED and PUSHIM against a twilight backdrop with minimal production.

The official video premieres on YouTube at 5:00 PM JST on February 14. The single will be available on streaming platforms via a LinkCore link.

Lyrics are by RUEED and PUSHIM. The track was recorded by Rei Maeda at NASOUNDRA PALACE STUDIO, mixed by Taiji Okuda at studio MSR, and mastered by SUI.
