Shonen Jump+ Anime 'Seihantai na Kimi to Boku' Gets Comedy Duo Commentary

The official YouTube channel for Shonen Jump+ will premiere a special commentary video for the anime 'Seihantai na Kimi to Boku' (Polar Opposites Me and You) on February 8. The video features the Japanese comedy duo Rainbow providing a secondary audio track as they watch the first episode.

The anime is based on the manga by Akasawa Kocha, which was serialized on the Shonen Jump+ app from May 2022 to November 2024. It follows a high school romantic comedy between two opposites: Suzuki, a lively girl overly concerned with others' opinions, and the quiet but firm Tani-kun.

The video premieres on the Jumpra Channel at 4:00 PM JST on February 8 and will be available until 11:59 PM JST on February 22. The channel will also stream the anime's first episode itself during the same limited window.

The 'Seihantai na Kimi to Boku' anime began airing on MBS and TBS networks on January 11. New episodes stream weekly on ABEMA and Prime Video in Japan.
