Tenmaku no Jaadugar Episode 8 Preview Reveals Plot Details

The production committee for the anime Tenmaku no Jaadugar has released the synopsis and key visuals for its eighth episode, titled "Great Khatun Boragchin." The series is streaming on Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, and U-NEXT.

In episode eight, Sitala, having been recognized for her literacy, assists as a scribe. Through the mediation of Ogedei's fourth consort, Moge, she gains an audience with the First Empress, Boragchin. Observing the ailing empress, Sitala uses her accumulated knowledge to diagnose the cause of her illness and propose a treatment, successfully ingratiating herself. She begins to covertly advance her plan to cause internal division within the Mongol Empire.

Animation production is handled by Science SARU, the studio behind Devilman Crybaby, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!, and Dandadan. The series is directed by Abel Gongora, with series composition by Kanichi Katō and character design by Kenichi Yoshida. Yamada Naoko serves as chief director.

The opening theme, "Stella," is performed by SEKAI NO OWARI. The track is available on Spotify and other streaming services.

The main cast includes Akari Sekine as Sitala, Ami Koshimizu as Doregene, Noriko Kikuzawa as Fatima, Jun Saito as Muhammad, Hiro Shimono as Ogedei, Ryota Suzuki as Tolui, Miyu Irino as Shira, Daisuke Namikawa as Chagatai, Kenji Nojima as Jochi, and Misaki Kuno as Sorkhokhtani.

Episode 8 of Tenmaku no Jaadugar airs in Japan on August 16, 2026.
