'The Lamenting Ghost Wants to Retire' Previews Episode 24, Announces Finale Events

The TV anime 'The Lamenting Ghost Wants to Retire' has released a preview and synopsis for episode 24, titled 'Saigo wa Nikkori Waraitai'. The series, based on the light novel by Tsukikage, has sold over 2.4 million copies.

Episode 24 follows protagonist Cry as he navigates a perilous encounter with the Phantom Fox and the formidable Mother Fox, who possesses divine powers. The episode will be available on streaming platforms like Prime Video, Hulu, and Disney+.

In addition to the episode release, a special pre-finale YouTube event will premiere on December 13, featuring cast members Kensho Ono and Miyu Kubota, along with director Masahiro Takata. The special will provide insights and commentary on the series.

The series finale will be followed by a TV special airing on December 22. The anime's second cour continues to air weekly.
