TOOBOE to Perform Ending Theme for Anime 'Hotaru no Yomeiri', Releases New EP

TOOBOE will perform the ending theme for the upcoming anime Hotaru no Yomeiri (The Firefly's Marriage). The new song, titled "Yumegokochi," will be featured in an EP of the same name set for release on November 4, 2026.

The anime begins airing on Fuji TV's Noitamina block on October 9. Based on the manga by Tachibana Oreko, the story is set in the Meiji era and follows a terminally ill young woman and an assassin who becomes obsessively devoted to her. The manga has sold over 4.5 million copies.

"Yumegokochi" is an original song written for the series. In a statement, TOOBOE described the track as focusing on the assassin character's inner turmoil and the things one cannot obtain alone.

The second teaser PV for the anime, which includes a preview of the song, is now available.

The Yumegokochi EP will be released as a special package containing a CD, DVD, and original goods. Full details on the tracklist and goods will be announced later.

The anime is directed by Takahiro Kamei (Urusei Yatsura) and produced by david production (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure).
