Trapped in a Dating Sim Season 2 Set for July 2026

The second season of the TV anime 'Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs' will premiere in July 2026. The announcement was made alongside the release of a new key visual and promotional video.

The first key visual, drawn by character designer Masahiko Suzuki, shows protagonist Leon with his arms linked with the heroines Olivia and Angelica. A separate figure watches the trio from a window.

The first promotional video recaps the first season and introduces the new setting of the elves' floating island.

New character designs for the six male rivals from the original otome game were also revealed. The characters are Luxion (CV: Akira Ishida), Julius (CV: Kenichi Suzumura), Jilk (CV: Kosuke Toriumi), Brad (CV: Shinnosuke Tachibana), Chris (CV: Koji Yusa), and Greg (CV: Nobuyuki Hiyama).

The main staff from the first season returns, including director Kazuya Miura and series writer Kenta Ihara. Animation production is again handled by ENGI. The core cast of Takeo Otsuka (Leon), Kana Ichinose (Olivia), and Ai Fairouz (Angelica) is also set to return.

A poster giveaway campaign is running on the anime's official X account until May 6. The series' official website is mobseka.com.
