Uru and back number Collaborate for Anime Film Theme Song

Singer-songwriter Uru has released a new single, "Katawara ni Te Tsukiyo," which serves as the theme song for the anime film adaptation of Keigo Higashino's novel 'Kusunoki no Ban'nin'. The film marks the first time a Higashino novel has been adapted into an anime film.

The song is a collaboration with back number, with lyrics and composition by Iyori Shimizu and arrangement by back number. Uru's career began with YouTube covers of back number songs.

The music video for "Katawara ni Te Tsukiyo" is directed by Tomohiko Ito and features animation that complements the film's narrative. It portrays the journey of protagonist Naoto Reito, who finds personal growth through interactions with others, aligning with Uru's ethereal vocals.
