Uru releases 'tone' album and premium studio live video

Uru has released her first album in three years, 'tone'. A premium studio live performance premiered on her official YouTube channel.

The live stream, titled 'Uru Premium Studio Live ~New Album "tone"~', features an acoustic set. It includes the new single "Kyou to Iu Hi o" (Today as a Day), the theme for the Netflix film 'Kyojou Requiem', and "Sasurai no Uta", a new track from the album. The archive is available to watch until February 19 at 22:00 JST.

The 15-track album 'tone' compiles several recent theme songs. These include "Anbibarento" (Ambivalent), the opening for 'The Apothecary Diaries' Season 2, and "Kokoroe", the theme for the Fuji TV drama 'Kazama Kyojin -Kyojou 0-'. The track "Yoru ga Akeru Made" receives its first commercial release after being used in a Japanese Red Cross Society CM.

Two limited editions are available. A cover version includes newly recorded covers of songs by artists including Ken Hirai, Masaki Suda, and Eiichi Ohtaki. A video version includes a live Blu-ray from Uru's 2023 tour at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA.

"Kyou to Iu Hi o" is the theme for 'Kyojou Requiem', the second part of a film series starring Takuya Kimura. The first part, 'Kyojou Reunion', is streaming on Netflix. The single "Sobara nite Tsukiyo" (By the Moonlight), with music and lyrics by back number's Iyori Shimizu, is the theme for the anime film 'Kusunoki no Bannin'.

A national tour, 'Uru Tour 2026 "tone"', is scheduled from July through October. It includes stops in Osaka, Saitama, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Kobe.
