Virtual fashion event 'X VORDER RUNWAY' releases theme song MV by Kohei Tanaka

The track, titled "交錯 OMNIVERSE" (Kousaku Omniverse), was composed by legendary anime and game composer Kohei Tanaka.

Tanaka, known for his work on series like 'Sakura Wars', wrote over 30 potential melodies before finalizing the song. The lyrics by Shoko Fujibayashi incorporate keywords like "lines crossing" and "crossing borders."

The lineup includes VTubers like Hoshimachi Suisei and KAF, anime characters such as Amami Haruka and Kisaragi Chihaya from 'The Idolmaster', and real-world artists like KAWAII CLUB and HIMEHINA.

Popular illustrator Mika Pikazo, who designed characters for 'Fire Emblem Engage' and VTuber Kaguya Luna, created the key visual used in the MV.

Music producer Kazusane Hirose said the team aimed to create a song for a "massive group chant" at the live event.
