Yuichi Ikuzawa Releases New Single 'Gomenne' for Monthly Project

Yuichi Ikuzawa will release a new digital single, 'Gomenne,' on January 30. It is the second installment of his monthly music project, 'Gekkan Ikuzawa Yuichi.'

The song was written and composed by Ikuzawa, with arrangement by moba-T and mixing by Tsuyoshi Inoue. In a statement, Ikuzawa said the track draws from personal experience, specifically the moment his wife suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. He described holding her and repeatedly saying "I'm sorry."

Ikuzawa began his music career in 1974. He is the vocalist for the band BLAZE. He also performed the theme song for 'Yo-kai Watch' with King Cream Soda and appeared on the 65th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.

'Gomenne' will be available on major streaming platforms.
