BEYOND BORDERs Project Debuts at Anime Expo, Features Grimes, Odetari

The international VOCALOID collaboration project BEYOND BORDERs premiered its first EP and official trailer at Anime Expo in Los Angeles. The event, JAPAN MUSIC VOCALOID, was held on July 4 at The Novo theater.

The project pairs Japanese VOCALOID producers satapan-P, picco, and jon-YAKITORY with Western artists and producers. Los Angeles-based music venture Nebula17 is leading US-focused A&R and marketing.

Guest artists on the EP, titled "EMERGE M(HEART)DE MIKU," include Grimes, Odetari, MOLIY, slayr, George Clanton, Frost Children, and XAMIYA.

The JAPAN MUSIC VOCALOID stage event featured producers satapan-P, picco, Hachioji-P, and kz (livetune), with special guest TeddyLoid.

The project's main vocalist is the virtual singer software Hatsune Miku.
