Stage Play of 'The Summer Hikaru Died' Streams Globally for Free on ABEMA

The stage adaptation of the horror manga The Summer Hikaru Died will stream globally for free. ABEMA will broadcast the live performance recording on August 10 at 7:00 PM JST, followed by a free marathon of the entire 12-episode TV anime starting at этой same evening.

The anime marathon will be free to watch for one week after its initial broadcast. Both streams are accessible worldwide on ABEMA's Anime Live Channel 3.

The stage production stars Honjima Junsei as Yoshiki and Imaki Teruru as Hikaru. The TV anime features voice actors Kobayashi Chiaki and Umeda Shuichiro in the lead roles.

A Blu-ray of the stage play is scheduled for release in Japan on August 19. The disc includes the performance with Japanese subtitles and behind-the-scenes footage.
