Super Kaguyahime! Hits 1 Million Viewers, Announces Final Week of Theater Events

The anime film ‘Super Kaguyahime!’ has surpassed 1 million theatergoers and 2 billion yen in cumulative box office revenue.

From April 24 to 30, theaters will distribute a seventh wave of viewer bonuses: an illustration postcard featuring the characters Kaguyahime and Yachiyo Tsukimi.

Before screenings, the three main characters—Kaguyahime, Ayaha Sakayori, and Yachiyo Tsukimi—will voice a welcome announcement.

A special ‘post-possible’ screening event is scheduled for April 29 at 6:30 PM JST. Viewers in participating theaters can post to social media during the film using the hashtag #GWは超かぐや姫. The film’s official social media accounts will post behind-the-scenes content during the event.
