Yamaha Launches 'THE CREATE feat. VOCALOID' Talent Tournament on YouTube

Yamaha Corporation is launching a YouTube talent tournament for VocaloPs. The program, 'THE CREATE feat. VOCALOID,' opens applications for its talent discovery tournament on June 15.

The 'Talent Discovery Tournament Program' will follow creators over multiple rounds of song production based on assigned themes. The 'Creator Academy' will feature established VocaloPs and musicians.

Applications are open from June 15 to July 31, 2026, through the program's official website. There are no restrictions based on age, gender, or experience level.

Content from the program will begin streaming on YouTube in October 2026. The final selection event is scheduled as an offline event in Japan for March 2027.

The winner of the tournament will receive a 1 million yen prize, collaboration opportunities with professional artists, and have their song implemented in the English-learning rhythm game 'Risdom.'

Official supporters for the program include established VocaloPs and composers. Benesse Corporation and Sega XD are serving as official sponsors.
