New Artist KANAKA Releases Debut Single 'Flower'

KANAKA, a new artist from Tokyo, released her debut single "Flower" on June 15. The track and its music video are available on global streaming platforms.

The song was produced by GP and features KANAKA's own lyrics.

The accompanying music video was directed by tatsuaki and features a team of dancers with international credits. Dancer Sakurako has appeared in videos for Cardi B and performed with KATSEYE. Choreographer Aru Sakurada has worked on events like the 2021 Paralympic closing ceremony.

KANAKA comes from a musical family; her brother is a beatmaker, her mother a pianist, and her grandmother an enka singer. She has also been active in fashion, attending Paris Fashion Week and collaborating with brands like Puma Japan.
